Poetry of the useless or work of art?

Certainly also a work of art. Art and its poetics reside in this environment, the artist begins to star in singular creative moments, simply making a contribution to the volition, “fertilization”, construction and organization of the elements in the compositional space, just like the “sperm” in its fertilization. All very contagious. It goes through several phases until its birth.

There is a moment of intimate relationship (symbiosis) established between element and artist, in the sense that they will be classified and organized in the two- or three-dimensional compositional space.

The work of art is there, among the waste, it needs to be discovered by its protagonist. The elements that make up the creation, or are already ready, with their characteristics of color, texture, shape, smell, etc. or will undergo small interventions by the artist.

In the process of choosing and selecting elements, the image is not yet defined, it will come at the same time as the classification process. Horten Werneck, in his compositional process, turns his attention to the abstract result, with symmetrical or asymmetrical characteristics. Since the advent of photography, art has undergone major transformations, so this language offers the artist the possibility of creating new things. I believe it is one of the most complete and current languages: assemblage, meeting the artist's need and expectation of creation in a poetics of art for art's sake until now.
